Missoula KOA Holiday

Located well-off Interstate 90 on the west side of Missoula, Montana, this well-appointed campground is a great stop for an overnight or longer.

There are 274 individual campsites at this KOA campground, and every single one of them is a pull through. Some of them are bigger than others, though. For example, the site we were in featured a separate parking space for our toad. Others were a bit longer, and allowed for parking your toad behind or in front of your main rig.

Getting to the campground is relatively easy, provided you take the correct route. If you’re coming from the west on I90 (eastbound), do not follow the directions given by your GPS. The GPS will direct you to take exit 96, cross highway 10, then take an abrupt turn on Tina Street. THIS IS WRONG. There is a gate separating the adjacent property, and you won’t be able to get through unless you can find someone to open the gate.

Instead, take the Reserve Street exit, heading south on Reserve Street. Then take a right on England Boulevard, and a quick right on Tina Street. This’ll put you right in the check-in lanes for the campground.

Holy smokes, there are a ton of amenities at this campground. I’ve listed the bulk of them in the table below, but there may have been some that I missed. Of note: there is a common area type building, with a kitchen that can be used by campers for gatherings and such.

Rates

Check KOA.com for the latest rates. We had one of their premium sites, which was double-wide, long enough for the Grizz and the Jeep, plus had an extra parking space. Since we are KOA members, we got a slight discount, and the site cost $90 for the night.
